Servant Leadership Dialogue GroupsMeet the 4th Week of the Month: September-November & January-May
With the scandals and failures of those leading corporations and organizations increasing, perhaps it's time to look beyond their models and lead toward a paradigm that put the needs of people first...and of leader's who serve others. This Servant Leadership Paradigm is taking hold in the classroom, boardrooms, factories and communities around the world. Servant Leadership is not a new idea. In fact, you will find that themes of servant leadership are woven throughout many of the world's religions. The Newaygo County Servant Leadership Dialogue groups will focus on The Servant as Leader, the first work of Robert Greenleaf, who pioneered the application of servant leadership in industry, education and communities. It was Greenleaf, who three decades ago, quietly began a movement that is impacting communities, corporations and countries around our world. If you are committed to being a person who uses their influence and power to propel others toward the goal of helping others become better people...you will find this dialogue refreshing and helpful as you seek to make our community a better place to work and live. Through participating in one of the Servant Leadership Dialogue groups, you'll...
These informal gatherings include a reading and dialogue of the concepts found in the Servant As Leader all over and early morning coffee or lunch hour. Programs begin and conclude within an one hour time frame. We suggest that each participant purchase a copy of Robert Greenleaf's The Servant As Leader for $6.00 per copy from Leadership In Newaygo County. Please RSVP your desire to attend the Dialogue Group of your choice by calling Leadership in Newaygo County at (231) 924-7904 or by completing online form below. |
